How to say “Please don't touch the carvings” in Khmer
សូមកុំប៉ះរូបចម្លាក់
som kom pah rup chamlak
💡 ចម្លាក់ (chamlak) = carving/relief; ប៉ះ (pah) = to touch. The oils from constant touching wear away the soft sandstone reliefs. Conservation signs ask visitors to admire with their eyes only — a phrase a guard might use, too.
